Mazu Collage: Unreliable Narrators

"This is a progress update video, not the final film." Mazu Collage: Unreliable Narrators is a collaborative artists’ cinema directed by Tzu-An WU and Lily Jue SHENG. The film shares different people's storytelling and creating meaning out of the popular sea goddess Mazu, through the art of allegory, conversation, handicraft, “home movie” style documentation, mixed media assemblage, performance spectacle, poetry, and translation.
