Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan: Lunar Halo

Cloud Gate Artistic Director CHENG Tsung-lung first witnessed a lunar halo in Iceland, a phenomenon seen as a harbinger of change. Collaborating with Sigur Rós, he explores our increasing reliance on technology. To an ethereal soundtrack, dancers interact with each other and shifting LED panels, their movements questioning: if our needs are met with a tap on a screen,  what is the purpose of the human body?
