A Life That Sings

In 1964, Ya Xian wrote catchy lines of poetry. After that, he devoted himself to editing work and stopped publishing poems publicly after 1966. A poet and a collection of poems, their influence is still spreading from the middle of the last century to the present. What magical qualities does the poet possess? Poetry, what story is written? This film follows the legendary protagonist from Vancouver to Nanyang, Henan, from his childhood mobile library to his current basement. It opens up the treasure house of the poet's memory and presents to the audience Shao Xian's hard work and love for the literary world and literature.
