Giloo Fest 2023 is a new initiative consisting of two events: "Crowdfunding Global Pitch" and "International Chinese short film festival". In addition to inviting fans to be the first to see the Top 50 International Short Film Festival curated by Giloo, the event is also the first of its kind to invite fans to become patrons of the world's newest film creators.

新銳影像創作者總想盡辦法籌資拍片而不可得，影迷也不容易看見優質的國際短片創作；現在 Giloo Fest 一舉兩得：不只讓影迷不用出國，在家就能輕鬆看到 Giloo 團隊策展的 50 大國際華語短片影展：而新銳影像創作者絞盡腦汁想出的華語短片企劃，也能透過眾籌提案大會，不僅僅被廣大影迷看見，更可進一步獲得影迷實質贊助的支持。
The Giloo Fest is a great opportunity for fans to see the top 50 international Chinese short films curated by the Giloo team without having to travel abroad, and for fans to see their Chinese short film projects through a crowdfunding event. Through the public fundraising event, not only will the projects be seen by the fans, but they will also be able to gain the support of actual sponsorship from the fans.

為鼓勵全球華語影像創作者、支持華語短片獨立製作，Giloo Fest 2023: Funding and Bonding 將透過串流網路平台，串連全球創作者與支持者，向全球社群推廣華語獨立短片，並首度提出「群眾共決贊助基金 Collective Power Fund」以及「個人贊助基金 My Own Favorites」的新創舉，致力打造的全新電影社群生態系。透過 Giloo Fest，讓導演及製作團隊在找到資金之外，還能在創作路上與世界各地的創作者夥伴、影迷可透過新型態社群平台 Discord 與創作者高互動交流。
In order to encourage global Chinese film creators and support independent Chinese short film production, Giloo Fest 2023: Funding and Bonding will promote independent Chinese short films to the global community through a streaming network platform that connects creators and supporters worldwide. "My Own Favorites" is a new initiative that aims to create a new film community ecosystem. Through Giloo Fest, directors and production teams can not only find funding, but also interact with creators around the world on their creative journey.

Giloo Fest invites movie fans to become sponsors. Collecting new creators from home and abroad to present their heartfelt projects in front of the fans, who will cast their votes of approval, which also represents the actual support of the invested sponsorship.

In 2012, his first film “The Soul of Bread” (co-directed with Ko Pin-Chuan) was awarded with the Grand Prize in Golden Horse Film Project Promotion. Lin was nominated twice (2012 and 2013) for best cinematographer at the Golden Bell Awards. he won the Best Director Award at the 54th Golden Bell Awards with his work "The World Between Us".In 2021, his drama series "Gold Leaf" set a record with 16 nominations at the Golden Bell Awards. His upcoming works include the 2023 film "Eye of the Storm" and the Netflix series "Wave Makers".

She is good at developing story contents and integrating international films and television resources, leading her team to produce the films Man in Love(2021), Marry My Dead Body(2023), and Call of Lobster(2024), TV series The Pond(2021) and Mr. Liar. Huang Hao-Jie, the current director of Kaohsiung Film Archive, started his career as a documentary filmmaker. In 2005, he directed the documentary film "Sweet in the Rain," which won the "Educational and Information Programs Award" at the Golden Bell Awards that year.

- Giloo Fest 提案大會與各項講座活動皆為線上舉行，消費者應評估其設備和網路連線是否足夠穩定，以確保順暢的影片播放體驗。Giloo Fest 不負責消費者因設備和網路無法連線，而導致無法參加提案大會與各項講座線上活動的相關問題，亦不接受消費者要求取消或更改場次。
- 購買者同意不得將 Giloo Fest 活動（包含提案內容）進行存檔、下載、複製、散布、修改、展示、公開播放、出版、授權、製作衍生作品、出租或販賣。
- 購買者認知且尊重Giloo Fest 所提供之影音內容為Giloo紀實影音(下稱本公 司)或授權本公司之權利人所擁有，本服務及服務內容受到國、內外著作權法、商標法及相關智慧財產權法之保護。
- 各電影專案執行過程中，可能因製作時程、人力調度與其他不可抗力之因素而有所遲延。若因上述狀況造成計畫遲延或異動，亦會於第一時間通知贊助者。若因而肇致電影專案取消，恕不退款。
- 購買者參與本贊助案，已充分瞭解各電影專案執行的高度不確定因素，以及電影工作者負擔電影製作之重大財務及成本責任，如發生任何不可預測之情況，造成電影計畫取消或無法履行完成電影相關之回饋內容，購買者同意由Giloo Fest視情況提供其他等值之回饋內容或服務作為替代方案，如未能提供替代方案，購買者亦同意將贊助款之任何退費金額，無條件轉為贊助 Giloo紀實影音平台，以表支持。
- Giloo Fest 擁有更改活動細節的權利，若有任何修改、暫停、終止服務的情況，會事先公告通知，並盡可能提供合理的補償和解決方案。
- Buyers agree that Giloo Fest may provide their email information to collaborating partners for the sole purpose of sending gifts and event notifications.
- The Giloo Fest proposal meeting and all lecture events are held online. Consumers should evaluate whether their equipment and internet connection are stable enough to ensure a smooth video playback experience. Giloo Fest is not responsible for any issues related to consumers' inability to participate in the proposal meeting or online lecture events due to equipment and internet connection issues, and does not accept consumer requests for cancellations or changes to sessions.
- Buyers agree not to archive, download, copy, distribute, modify, display, publicly broadcast, publish, license, create derivative works, rent, or sell Giloo Fest events (including proposal content).
- Buyers acknowledge and respect that the audiovisual content provided by Giloo Fest is owned by Giloo (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") or rights holders authorized by the Company, and that this service and service content are protected by national, domestic, foreign copyright laws, trademark laws, and related intellectual property laws.
- During the execution of each film project, delays may occur due to production schedules, staffing, and other unforeseeable circumstances. If the project is delayed or changed due to the above situation, the sponsor will be notified as soon as possible. If the film project is canceled as a result, there will be no refund.
- Buyers participating in this sponsorship project fully understand the highly uncertain factors involved in the execution of each film project, as well as the significant financial and cost responsibilities of filmmakers. In the event of any unforeseeable circumstances that cause the film project to be canceled or unable to fulfill the feedback content related to the film, buyers agree that Giloo Fest may provide alternative feedback content or services of equal value, and if unable to provide an alternative solution, buyers agree to unconditionally convert any refund amount of the sponsorship into supporting Giloo, to show support.
