Now that the term "Taiwan Province" is about to become history, how can we re-examine the past of ourselves and the land where we grew up from the perspective of provincial citizenship? This film combines "Governor Song's" political propaganda films, Taiwanese films that successfully circumvented the legacy of the Kuomintang at that time, and intersperses Fu Yu's own naked self-analysis in front of the camera, telling the story of not being able to speak Taiwanese in childhood, As a native of Taipei, close to the Kuomintang... as an "outsider", I had various contradictory and embarrassing growing experiences. Through the process of exploring her self-worth through dialogue with old images from the past, she tried to find opportunities for mutual understanding between herself and the country.
