Inside Out the 5th Cement Park Live Art Festival", also known as "The Perfect Alibi", is a short documentary in the form of monologues and images, which connects a lost story from the planning of the art in November 2022 to the spring of 2023 through the narrative of different people - about an annual performance and experimental art festival that took place as scheduled, the shutting down of FAZHAN in Chengdu, and an artist friend who disappeared for six months. It is a tale about the relationship between young artists and subcultural groups, as well as the social status at the ending of the five-year pandemic times in China.

2022年12月21日，我去上海拍攝水泥公園行為藝術節的第一天，一位叫做B.A.T的朋友失聯了。直到2023年的春天——他在成都做的罰站藝術空間——那是它的最後一晚。那晚我才明白——在去年12月的上海——他有一個完美的不在場證明。
On December 21, 2022, the first day I went to Shanghai to photograph the Cement Park Performance Art Festival, a friend named B.A.T. disappeared from contact. Until the spring of 2023 - the FAZHAN art space he made in Chengdu - that was its last night. At that night I realized - in Shanghai last December - that he had had a perfect alibi.

2022年11月，上海的策展人、行為藝術家呂德生如期開始籌備第五屆水泥公園行為藝術節。隨著疫情形勢，一些朋友的藝術空間被關閉，幾乎所有被邀請的藝術家都得到了新一輪疫情的感染。2022年12月，為期5天的水泥公園現場藝術節在上海的要空間如期開幕，他們聚集在上海的廢棄酒店、藝術空間和實驗音樂場所。來自武漢、西安、成都和其他城市的藝術家聚集在這裡。三種情緒充斥在上海的群體空間中，有疫情之下慣性的壓抑，有壓抑後的迫切狂歡，有對後大流行時代的無聲反思。 在演出的最後，他們像每天一樣談論著一些消失的和已故的藝術家朋友。演出結束後，他們回到了西安、上海、武漢和全國各地，繼續他們的堅持和創作。 本片於2022年11月至2023年12月進行前期拍攝，之後再2023年3月完成中期拍攝。計劃於2023年7月進行第三次拍攝和素材收集，以及2024年1月進行補拍和素材整理。預計在2024年3月前完成成片。 本片拍攝規格為2K，拍攝地點四川成都、上海、四川宜賓等，對白語言為中文普通話，片長約30分鐘。
In November 2022, Shanghai-based curator and performance artist Lu Desheng began preparations for the fifth Cement Park Live Art Festival as scheduled. With the epidemic situation, some friends' art spaces were closed and almost all the invited artists got infected by the new round of Covid in Shanghai. The five-day Cement Park Live Art Festival opened on time in Shanghai's YAO space in December 2022, where attendees congregated in abandoned hotels, art galleries, and experimental music venues. Here are artists from Wuhan, Xi'an, Chengdu, and other cities. There was the typical repression during the epidemic, an urgent celebration following the repression, and a period of silence following the pandemic. At the conclusion of the program, as they do every day, they discussed some of their departed and deceased artist friends. They returned to Xi'an, Shanghai, Wuhan, and the rest of the country after the exhibition to continue their perseverance and creativity. Pre-production was scheduled for November to December 2022, followed by its mid-production in March 2023. A third filming and footage collection is scheduled for July 2023, with further filming and footage collection concluding in January 2024. The anticipated completion date for the film is March 2024. The film will be approximately 30 minutes long, filmed in 2K in Chengdu, Shanghai, and Yibin, Sichuan, with Mandarin Chinese dialogue.
