2021・Taiwan・123 minutes
Kaohsiung was a military center during the Japanese occupation, and it was also the area that suffered severe military repression during the February 28 Incident. This film traces the stories of Taiwanese Japanese soldiers who experienced World War II, members of the Xiongzhong Self-Defense Forces during the February 28th Incident, and the survivors of the February 28th Incident. As they walked through the era of being silenced, fear and trauma followed them and became a lifelong problem. Carrying the burden of history. The memories deeply implanted in their bodies also remain in the gaps of time and space. The memories are like wild tomatoes that work hard to grow on this land, bearing strong fruits of life and showing perseverance.
