In the 1980s, as the economy gradually took off, Yaojun and Liyun, a married couple, worked alongside their friends in a machinery factory. Together, they faced significant life events and pursued a so-called bright and beautiful future. However, an accident created a rift in their friendship. Without a word, Yaojun and Liyun left, moving to an unfamiliar southern region to start anew. Thirty years later, long-lost friends invited them to return to their hometown. In the winter, the warmth of their hometown's people remained unchanged, though the scenery had long since transformed, and time had not untangled the knots in their hearts. Can choosing to forget bring back what was lost?
