Deng Nan-guang's 8mm Movies

Deng Nan-guang, an important early Taiwanese photographer, was also the first to use moving images to record Taiwan. He shot six short films from 1935 to 1941: "Fishing Tour", "Taiwan Expo 8mm News" (including "New Year Visitor", "Little Guanyin Snow Seeing Objects", and "Douglas Plane Arrives"), "Taipei Kindergarten Sports Meet", "One Day", "Tsui River", "Going to see the Ama Women". These family documentary images are filled with feelings of intimacy and nature, and also reflect the customs and customs of Taiwan at that time. They are precious and rare images of Taiwan from a civilian perspective. (This film is a silent film, no dialogue or sound)
