Due to the unpredictable nature of his dreams, WEI HONG decides to return to his hometown to search for a past lover. In doing so, he uncovers a series of strange events occurring in the Elephant Village. His grandfather falls into despair as the scenes on television overlap with his personal memories. However, through WEI HONG's inquiries, a painful history intertwining personal, family, and national traumas is revealed, yet it is impossible to discern reality from illusion.
