99 Homes
2014・United States・113 minutes
In the economic downturn, the victims are often the hard-working ordinary citizens. Dennis, a single father, originally lived an ordinary but contented life with his mother and son in the house they bought through hard work. However, when Dennis was unemployed for a period of time because he could not pay the mortgage, the family was kicked out of the house by Rick, the real estate agent entrusted by the bank, and the police.
In order to support his family and buy back the house, Dennis accepted Rick's employment and suddenly changed from the role of victim to the perpetrator of the eviction order. He gradually understood how Rick's success was based on greed and corruption. Will Dennis bow to reality and help the evildoers, or will he plead for justice for the 99% of ordinary citizens who share the same fate as him?
