A young man named Akihiro Tachibana works as a station attendant but struggles to move on from his lover's death. One day, he stumbles upon an old bookstore and finds a book with the words, "If you find it hard to love your own life, you must strive to learn to love it." Inside the book, he finds a business card that reads "Akane Otaki," marking the start of their encounter. Akihiro becomes drawn to Akane’s "sparkling glasses" – a metaphor for her appreciation of small joys in life.
