Skate Kitchen

A vibrant and youthful film inspired by the real-life Instagram community "theskatekitchen."  It follows Camille, a Long Island skateboarder, as she makes a pilgrimage to a Lower East Side skate spot in Manhattan. There, she meets a group of free-spirited female skaters, experiencing the thrill of the ride and finding companions to share her joys and sorrows.  Despite her mother's disapproval, Camille can't resist the urban landscape, the wind in her hair, and the bonds she forms with these new friends.  The girls skate and compete, clashing with male skaters over territory, while Camille develops a mysterious affection for a red-haired boy.
