Cape No. 7 follows the rise of a small-town rock band and the discovery of undelivered love letters from 1940s Japanese-occupied Taiwan. The story begins in 1945, as a Japanese teacher is forced to leave Taiwan, revealing his hidden love in seven heartfelt letters. Decades later, the letters spark a new cross-cultural romance. With stunning South Taiwan scenery and rich cinematography, the film weaves together themes of music, love, dreams, cultural diversity, and small-town life.
