Old Man And a Dog

Chan, a solitary elderly, is diagnosed with terminal cancer. Forced out of his job because of declining health, he considers ending his own life as there is nothing in store for him other than the deep abyss of death. Ka-chun, Chan's grandson whom he has not seen for ages, makes a surprise visit and brings him an abandoned old dog at this very moment. Chan, Ka-chun and the dog form a bond, and in tender moments of respite the stoic Ka-chun grapples with the idea of death and saying goodbye. Although the encounter between the two dying souls does not change their destinies, it allows Chan and Ka-chun to accept the inevitable.
