2023・Taiwan・105 minutes

Amid the misty mountains of Taiwan, ancient creatures endure — the salamanders.
Having witnessed the age of dinosaurs and the dawn of humankind, these ice-age survivors now face a new threat: climate change and habitat loss.

Taiwan, though small, harbors five unique salamander species, making it the southernmost home for these rare animals. Yet as their habitats shrink, their survival grows more uncertain.

"Good Morni MIT" is a documentary born from 17 years of devotion. It follows a group of dedicated researchers into remote highland streams, where they search for these elusive creatures, battling harsh conditions and time itself. Some have devoted their lives — and even lost them — in pursuit of protecting what remains.

More than a search for a species, it is a quiet, powerful journey to rediscover humanity’s deep connection to the natural world — before it fades away.
