Hot Blood & Outburst Of Rage

熱血 (RE XIE) Hot Blood & Outburst Of Rage is my graduation work. It addresses the mandatory military policy in Taiwan. With the progressive expansion of influence by the CPC (Communist Party of China), our government has extended the draft from 4 months to 1 year and is committed to intensifying it. This film tries to focus on this background, and how it affects undergraduates like me, as well as every young man here in Taiwan. As far as I'm concerned, male youngsters escaping from the military is not something unheard of. Before the shooting, I have undergone different measures to escaped, and I’ve seen friends resorting to extreme measures to avoid it. I am currently serving in the military. It’s hard to be a 'relaxed queer' in this environment. I wanted to shared this story of a queer boy who has no chance of being accepted by his peers, with no voice to express his willingness, to his peers, to the government, or to the war coming towards us.
