The graduation performance of the Central Academy of Drama in Beijing will bring the Broadway musical "Famous" to the stage. In order to perform the first collaboration between China and Broadway, every graduating class student tried their best to win the opportunity to play the leading role. During the eight-month rehearsal period, they, who grew up under the one-child policy, performed the story of American fame on the stage, while also groping for their future off the stage. Not only do they have to face the black-box operation of casting, but they also have to bear the pressure from their families and teachers. How should they face the reality of today's Chinese society and find their own path to success?
