Just as Hanako (Mayu Matsuoka) was about to realize her long-held dream of becoming a director, everything was snatched away from her. Struck by this bolt from the blue, Hanako, who vows to fight back, visits her family whom she hasn't contacted in ten years, accompanied by her fated lover, Masao (Masataka Kubota). There's her father, Osamu (Koichi Sato), abandoned by his disheartened mother; her eldest brother, Seiichi (Sosuke Ikematsu), who only talks big; and her overly serious and repressed second brother, Yuji (Ryuta Wakaba). When a certain secret hidden by this dysfunctional family is revealed, Hanako's path to revenge gradually takes an unexpected turn….
