Takuma Nakahira was born in Tokyo in 1938. In the 1960s and 1970s, he impacted society through sharp and critical language and avant-garde photography. In 1977, alcoholism caused memory loss, and his sharp edge disappeared. The following year, while I was recuperating in Okinawa, I slowly started taking photos while resuming my life. Later, he moved to Yokohama, and the lost memories still didn't come back, but he still hung the Canon New F-1 on his shoulder every day and rode his bicycle out to take pictures, day after day. Director Takashi Homma, who is also a photographer, left behind the last auspicious moments of this Japanese photography legend through 40 minutes of daily life.
