The mother passed away suddenly before the expropriation and relocation for Taoyuan Aerotropolis, yet the family order became stable after her absence, even appearing "happy." This unspeakable subtlety drove the director to repeatedly return to the old home in Shalun, which was about to disappear, and insisted on pulling his father and younger brother, who were trying to move on, back to the old place. Between filming and being filmed, the family's divergence regarding "farewell" gradually emerged, and a suppressed past quietly seeped out. The director continuously asked himself: Is this an attempt to preserve memories, or is it being trapped in a cycle without a peaceful end?
