Every three weeks, I accompany my mother to a cancer center for her chemotherapy. The patients I meet there, like my mother, hold on to their everyday lives without losing their sense of hope for the world or their kindness toward others. They cover their pain with love, striving to live each day and rise again to face tomorrow.
