A young swordsman in white travels alone and fights five bandits along the way: Eye, Ear, Nose, Tongue and Body. His last opponent, Mind, turns out to be himself thirty years later. Inspired by the Heart Sutra, Shinery Puppet Show blends traditional Taiwanese glove puppetry with Unreal Engine virtual production, set to a score of beiguan, throat singing and shakuhachi. Winner of the Noves Visions Petit Format award at Sitges, with two technical nominations at the Taipei Film Awards.
