Since 1954, the world's top jazz musicians have gathered in Newport, USA, every August to perform at the famous Summer Jazz Festival. In 1958, heavyweight photographer Bert Stern visited, leaving eternal images of the annual jazz event, including jazz great Louis Armstrong, the father of rock and roll Chuck Berry, piano geek Thelonious Monk and blues queen Dai. The mesmerizing and exquisite performances of luxury cassette stars such as Na Washington have undoubtedly become the most precious historical materials. Even Sigur Rós lead singer Jónsi and Haruki Murakami have expressed their love for the film. It was also listed as a designated collection by the National Film Preservation Administration in 1999.
