The Third Wife

In Vietnam, at the end of the 19th century, a fourteen-year-old girl Xiao Yun was sent to a prominent family to marry as the third wife. In a closed traditional family, Xiaoyun soon realized that the way to maintain her status was to give birth to a baby boy for her husband. She soon became pregnant, and at the same time, she gradually developed an ambiguous feeling for the second wife, and she also discovered the ulterior family secret. Undercurrents of suspicion and entanglements of desire are intertwined in the mansion, and the young girl, who has never seen anything in the world, quietly has a stirring of awakening in her heart.
