Haruomi Hosono, the godfather of Japanese music, composed the music for "Shoplifters" and won Japan's Academy Award for Best Music. He was also a key figure in Sakamoto Ryuichi's entry into the world. The film traces his encounter with music as a child, to joining the bands Apryl Fool and HAPPY END in his youth, and forming YMO with Ryuichi Sakamoto and Yukihiro Takahashi. The album not only received high praise, but was also regarded as a pioneer of electronic synthesis. This film includes classic scenes of the group's formation, wonderful performances at YMO gatherings that have not been seen for many years, and in-depth reports of Hosono Haruomi's overseas tours in recent years. Gen Hoshino serves as the narration, narrating the master's 50-year career. Music fans must not miss it!
