Qu Yuan's Nine Songs worships heaven and earth, worships ghosts and gods, praises love, and mourns national martyrdom. It is the prayer of all people; Lin Hwai-min's "Nine Songs" borrows the form of ancient rituals, using masks to dance with mortals, and performs human history from ancient times. story; since its premiere in 1993, it has become one of Cloud Gate's most important classic dance works. In 2007, Lin Hwai-min originally wanted to seal "Nine Songs", but he gave up the idea because of a fire at the rehearsal venue the following year and found an unburned Yun Zhongjun mask among the ashes. In September 2012, "Nine Songs", which has not been seen for many years, will finally return to the stage and become the highlight of the annual autumn performance "Resurrection of the Gods".
