Walking on Water

Land art husband and wife team Christo and Jeanne-Claude have been planning to build a "floating pier" since the 1970s, but have not started construction due to various practical factors. After his wife passed away, Christo was determined to complete this joint dream. He successfully built a 3-kilometer-long water trail in Lake Iseo, Italy, covered with bright yellow cloth. When people walk on it, the cloth will sway with the water waves, showing different levels of gold and red tones. In addition to leaving a lasting impression on the 16-day limited spectacle, this film also records Christo's madness, persistence and sincerity towards art.
