At the age of 25, Freddy traveled to South Korea for the first time - the country where she was born before being adopted by a French couple. However, she decided to search for her biological parents and explore such a strange yet familiar land. This journey is constantly changing, from Freddy to the relatives and friends around him. It is like a "new person" who has been transformed, but at the same time he is stuck in the mud and can't breathe. Cambodian-French director David Chau adapted a friend's experience of traveling from Paris to South Korea to find his family, and was selected for the Un Certain Regard section of the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.
