I genuinely love watching movies. On my days off, I almost always make sure to watch one. During the pandemic, I was incredibly grateful for the re-release of so many old films; it was truly a blessing in disguise. My first encounter with art-house cinema in university was, in a way, the very origin of Mangasick. I remember thinking, "There are movies like this? Why aren't there comics like this?" With that thought, I wanted to discover more peculiar works. This time, we're thankful to Giloo for inviting us to select some films we've personally watched and loved. So, when Mangasick isn't open, perhaps we'll see you at the cinema?

Mangasick位於台北公館某地下室，以引薦另類漫畫與視覺藝術為職志，並透過書店、展覽、微型出版計畫與付費圖書空間等經營面向以實踐。2022年開設衛星藝廊為租賃制小型展覽空間，2020年起每年四月在萬華策辦滿滿漫畫節，專注展現台灣原創與實驗漫畫的多元風景。
