Cheating Time
Lately I have been exploring ways to steal time, so I started keeping a daily journal and writing more songs.
I also find myself exchanging my own time more often, half an hour, an hour, sometimes two, to trade for the time captured, extended, and created through images. In this way, the time of others becomes my own.
I am grateful to these works for raising many questions. For example, as Kara Jackson sings, “why does the earth give us people to love?” I still do not have an answer.
