男孩第一次來到父親的故鄉，和家人一起參加阿嬤的喪禮。
母親與親戚發生爭執後離去，面對眾人不友善的眼光，男孩與父親只能在遠處的河堤上，看著阿嬤被種在那片看不見的西瓜田裡，那是男孩第一次看見父親哭泣。
The child went to father’s home village for the first time to attend grandma’s funeral with his family. However, his mother left the funeral after having arguments with father’s family. The father and the child stayed at the funeral alone to tackle the unfriendliness of father’s family and the death of grandma. At the end, the father and the child can only stay at the river bank when grandma was buried far,far away in the watermelon farm. That was the first time the child saw his father’s tears.
