Komada - A Whisky Family

Feature animation film from "Hanasaku Iroha" and "Shirobako" production company P.A. Works. Building on global interest in Japanese whiskey, this story features a young female president struggling to reboot her family's failing distillery. Komada Rui (Hayami Saori) follows in her father's footsteps and takes over the family distillery. She aims to revive the distillery's dismal finances and relaunch their legendary "family ties" whiskey, which they were forced to abandon after a natural disaster.
