A young boy wakes up in a strange land with a parachute on his back, pursued by a dark spirit that seeks to consume him. Armed with only a motorcycle, a backpack, and the companionship of a small bird, he must overcome his fears and embark on an adventure. Along the way, he encounters strange landscapes, unusual experiences, and precious friendships, all of which strengthen his resolve to find his way home. This animated feature, the directorial debut of "Away" director Gints Zilbalodis, took him three and a half years to complete, with Zilbalodis independently handling the writing, animation, film scoring, and post-production. The film's journey, blurring the lines between reality and imagination, reflects not only the director's solitary effort in completing the feature but also his courage and reflections on overcoming life's challenges.
