Fu Yue (Ariel Lin), a film art director as stubborn with her emotions as she is with her work, temporarily leaves the film crew and her complicated love life due to her father's serious illness and returns to her hometown, Chiayi. While caring for her father at home, the family's faith in the Xuan Tian Shang Di (Dark Emperor) draws her to the memories of her grandfather. Fu Yue's heart gradually clears, rediscovering the value of life and the strength to face the future. This is a story about longing and memory, longing for her deceased grandfather, his faith, and the values he held.
