In the late Edo period, in Kyoto. Aizu clan samurai Kosaka Shinzaemon clashed with a Choshu clan samurai and was struck by lightning, instantly falling unconscious. When he awoke, he found himself on a film set in modern-day Japan. Shinzaemon was shocked to learn that the Edo shogunate ended 140 years ago, causing a stir wherever he went. Initially wanting to end his life, he unexpectedly found a new path as an extra on set, showcasing his superb swordsmanship...
