A Gentle Creature

A woman, longing for her husband, discovers one day that a package she sent him has been returned by the prison, marked "Addressee Not Found." Shocked and confused, she resolutely decides to travel to a remote Siberian prison to find out what happened. Upon arriving at the prison, she is met with bureaucratic obstacles, with officials refusing to accept her attempts to resend the package and denying her a meeting with her husband. Determined to uncover her husband's whereabouts, she refuses to leave despite the abuse and humiliation, and settles down in the prison town.
