Hush is a dance short film about a young dancer walking a tightrope between ambition and friendship. June, a standby dancer, is consumed by her desire to dance. She longs to learn the solo choreography alongside Lauren, the lead dancer who often stands apart from the group. But when June finally wins the opportunity from Lauren, she too becomes an outsider. As she struggles to keep her place among them, Lauren’s sudden departure gives June a chance to step into the spotlight. Now, she must decide what she’s willing to lose in order to shine. Shot in intimate handheld long takes, Hush captures the raw, immersive world of teenage dancers — where beauty and cruelty coexist in fragile balance.
