In 2025 Myanmar, a bread factory on the edge of a warzone faces a life-or-death crisis as its generator fails and the owner turns a blind eye. As explosions draw ever closer, the manager calls for a vote: stay or flee, leaving the choice of survival to each individual. Solitary Wave follows the workers’ perspectives, capturing their courage and struggles as they confront fear, responsibility, and hope, portraying those pushed to the margins of history and how they cling to the fragile light of life amid uncertainty.
