Elephant in Castle

The film uses a hand-drawn frame-by-frame process to create a subtle, abstract narrative. This work expresses the creator's changing inner world between 2019 and 2020, and depicts her emotions towards Hong Kong, the city where she grew up. Entering a new decade, the world is entering an unprecedented critical moment in history. This work may reflect the creator's sentimentality towards the stories and events that occurred in the city, as well as the contemporary political and social changes conveyed in it.
