During Mom’s Dui Nian (a ceremony for the first anniversary of a relative’s death), Mom decided to make a nostalgic dish — sesame oil chicken with Grandma. While cooking, they talk through their differences in values, accepting each other and learning to let go. Meanwhile, Ann, who is mourning her mom, is also growing up. After meeting a mysterious little girl during sunset seems to give Ann a new perspective on death and learn to say goodbye.
