In Pakistan's Karakoram mountain range, Aniqa Bano gives birth to her deaf daughter, Narjis, unaware of the stigma surrounding disabilities. Sixteen years later, Narjis reads her mother’s diaries, revealing Aniqa's struggles to advocate for marginalized individuals. To combat this, Aniqa establishes a school and home for the deaf in Baltistan, offering local children education and opportunities. Their journey illustrates Aniqa's commitment to integration and equal rights, benefiting not only her daughter but the entire community. This story highlights how fighting for rights can transform lives and foster coexistence in society.
