Successful and valued at work, loved and admired by his family at home, Ramon has what most would consider an enviable life. But Ramon’s fortunes are about to take a turn for the worse.
When his father-in-law, a bitter and solitary widower is moved into the family home by his wife, Ramon soon starts to feel the strain. He seeks refuge in his work, never suspecting that this particular escape route will soon be closed off to him forever... Ramon is diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and told that soon he won’t even be able to walk 100 meters.
