“Where the River Flows” reflects the inner lifeblood of an individual from the natural pulse of Xinjie River in Taoyuan. Faced with rapid urban development, the characters in the film try to delicately record the gradually forgotten landscape and life memories at their own pace and perspective. However, diseases and accidents are like huge rocks in the river of life, forcing them to pull the handbrake on their lives, re-examine the connection between the inner river and the outside world, and then deeply explore the possibility of the public reconnecting with the local area.
