"The Solitary Gourmet" quietly began airing late at night on TV Tokyo in January 2012.
The appetizing dishes and Inokashira Goro, played by Matsushige, has become the talk of the town for his daring "eating style" and "sympathetic tweets on food" and a number of people have become addicted to the show. This empathy spread overseas, and before long, many fans were born in the Asian region. The film is directed and written by Matsushige Yutaka, who has played the role of Inokashira Goro for the past 12 years! The lead role is of course played by Matsushige Yutaka. The film was shot in France, Korea, and Japan.
