Happy as Lazzaro

Lazzaro is a simple farm boy living in an isolated Italian town. But when he unexpectedly becomes friends with the arrogant young master of the manor, Tanquidy, his peaceful days change. One day, Tanquidy directed and acted in a kidnapping farce. Unexpectedly, this prank made Lazzaro accidentally travel through time and space many years into the future. How should the simple Lazzaro face the new world that he knows nothing about? This film uses magical realism to sublimate the tragedy of modern urbanization into an unspeakable ancient legend.
