In 2015, the former Yugoslav, now Slovenian rock band Laibach became the first foreign band allowed to perform in North Korea. The mischievous Laibach followed the locals when he entered the country, put on Korean national costumes, and played "Arirang" with a North Korean pianist. The whole performance was subtly carried out in an atmosphere of absurdity and high cultural shock. Not only was it amazing at every turn, but it also unveiled a little-known but human face of North Korea.
