Adapted from Alan McGee's 2013 autobiography, the film recreates Alan McGee's extraordinary life and the legendary story of Creation Records. Through anecdotes about how one classic band after another rose to prominence, McGee successively promoted dozens of British bands such as My Bloody Valentine, Primal Scream, and Teenage Fanclub. His pinnacle work was Oasis, which created the global "Brit Pop" British rock and roll craze in the 90s, establishing Alan McGee and Creation Records' immortal historical status. The film leads the audience to look back on how "our Brit Pop era" was created, and also allows us to relive "our Brit Pop era" again.
