Orlando
1992・United Kingdom・92 minutes
Orlando, who was born into a British aristocracy, was a beautiful boy during the reign of Elizabeth I. He won the favor of Elizabeth I and was given eternal beauty and life. After four hundred years of self-searching across time and space, as well as repeated slumbers and gender changes, the once naive and proud Ollando finally understood the joys and sorrows of love, the absurdity of war, and the constraints brought about by gender differences. This film is adapted from Virginia Woolf's novel of the same name, Deeda Winton's masterpiece, and an avant-garde film that breaks through contemporary gender consciousness.
