Men Drifting on the Ocean

Beginning in the 1960s, young indigenous people in Taiwan left their tribes and flocked to cities for jobs. A group of them went to distant fisheries and took cabin as home, drifting and fishing on the sea. Decades after, the indigenous crews were the main labor force of Taiwan’s distant fisheries. At the turning point of social changes, the hardship they encountered for survival, writing the harsh stories with tears in the history of Taiwan.
